Hello are the online classes live or prerecorded? Also when you say management can sign to say I am competent is that management of my work place or can another pool plant operator sign?
Hi Nicolo,
The classes are pre-recorded and you can complete the course in your own time.
We ask for 2 signatures:
1. General manager or similar. It is a management responsibility and legal duty to ensure staff is competent. Therefore, it is important that management is involved in the training and development of staff. They don’t need to be qualified but do need to be involved.
2. Someone with technical knowledge – your line manager or similar who is also a qualified Pool Plant Operator. Please also send us a copy of their certificate.
